National Identification Cards Registry is an agency of the Polish Normalization Committee run by Unizeto Technologies SA in Szczecin. KRKI grants identification numbers for cards providers and cards applications suppliers consistent with polish (PN), European (EN) and International (ISO) standards. |

The main objective of the National Entity Identification Registry is the registration of organs and authorities and the development of resources of names used for the identification purposes based on a registration tree. The KRIO is the entity registration authority of the highest priority in Poland and acts under the branch designated by sequence {iso(1), member-body(16), pl(616)} in name-tree-RH and defined by ISO/IEC 9834-1 standard and recommendation ITU-T X.660. According to ISO/IEC 9841-1 standard recommendation the administrational and technological function of the KRIO are performed by different entities. |
